Celebriy Eclipse Has Arrived in Miami

With so much hype about Royal Caribbean's Allure lets not forget that many other cruiseline's are debuting new ships to the Caribbean itineraries. Celebrity Eclipse has been in service overseas since April of 2010 but it now has a new home port, Miami Florida. The Eclipse is the latest upscale Solstice-class ship which is known for its sophistication, great food and service, contemporary design, and enriching on board activities. Allure of the Seas on the Today Show

The Allure of the Seas arrived in its home of Port Everglades just a few days ago. The Today Show on NBC had a great segment today aboard this spectacular ship. The Allure is on its way!

Royal Caribbean has taken delivery of its newest ship, Allure of the Seas. It departed Turku Finland on October 29, 2010 and it is making its way to its home to Fort Lauderdale, FL (Port Everglades. It is expected to arrive on November 11, 2010. Allure will be joining its sister-ship the Oasis of the Seas as the Worlds largest cruise ship. Royal Caribbean, Carnival Commit to Cage-Free Eggs (August 18, 2010)

Royal Caribbean International and Carnival Cruise Lines have committed to using cage-free eggs into their dining operations, The Humane Society of the United States announced. Royal Caribbean will switch 3.2 million eggs to cage-free immediately, increasing to 6.8 million within a year -- sparing nearly 30,000 hens each year from being held in tiny cages.
